“Enhancing Social Skills” Education Programs

Presented by Occupational Therapy Programs, sponsor of
COLLAGE activity Programs to promote social development
 in adults and children.     

“Back to school night" at collage - 
         
An evening held at one of the three locations of the COLLAGE program.

       

Experience for yourself how COLLAGE helps develop social skills

during weekly groups for adults or for children age 3-18.

Hear techniques for strengthening reciprocal interactions - both

verbal and nonverbal.

Learn how to increase awareness of others and seeing their viewpoints,

collaborating and cooperating successfully, feeling valued, and

balancing leader/follower roles in groups.

Recognize cues for thriving in unstructured environments like

the playground and group meal times.

 

Led by Beth Freeney, MS, OTR/L

 

Video presentations and guest speakers providing information about socially relevant topics.

 

Reservations encouraged, but not required.

There is no charge for attending most education sessions.
